Hey all,

I'm looking at coming over to North-Western America to jump a certain bridge (you know where I mean) in February next year. I know that this is not the best time to be there weather wise, but it looks like this will be my only option for a while. Are many people jumping there at that time, and if so, how cold is it and what is suitable attire? Thanks,

February temps average 25-45 F. That's pretty cold (-5 to 6 C). Dress warmly, and bring gloves to keep your fingers warm until you exit.

Also, be prepared to be winded.

Generally, there is very little jumping there that time of year. You may see only a few other jumpers (or none) depending on how long you are there.

Depending on your experience level, you might consider doing a full tour of the western U.S. (rather than just that one bridge). A group of Aussies did that in May, and if you check the ABA forum (they posted trip reports), you can probably get their contact info and ask them for contacts and suggestions.

I'd try to get leftovers from the turkey boogie if I was you...much better chance of making the gravy if ya know what I mean...

I'd like to go to the bridge in March (on my way to the cave), but I think even then unless you get a break, the weather will be harsh. You'll definitely want to climb out to keep warm, but Don may work for you.
Maybe Tom will still be out there doing his 4-a-day routine, you could hook up with him. Has he got 1000 off the bridge yet?
