Howdy,
Just curious to see if any one has a copy of a flat pack video or know where I can get one. My dial up connection makes research a pain in the a$%. I appreciate the input.

Get vertigo bases's video.. it's great that's how I learned, jumped all my pack jobs (my first jumps) this year at bridge day, all on heading.

Basic Research put out a great video on pro-stacking back in the 1990s. I used BR's method as the basis of several manuals that I wrote for Rigging Innovations.

When I last asked BR (last year), they had discontinued the video, and now only offered a printed manual.

I'd like a copy of that video as well. The flat pack method seems to be a little easier for me as I still get confused doing a standing pro pack.

I have the old Basic Research Video Manual. I don't exactly want to give it up, as it has it's place in my "History of BASE". I would however be willing to make a copy, for distribution. If anyone really has an interest, let me know. I have a couple VCR's laying around here somewhere, I'm sure I could make a copy.

Avery, it's fine if you want to make some copies of the BR Packing Video to distribute to those interested in having a copy. There are some very key things missing as that video was made 9-10 years ago, MAINLY THE TAILGATE! This video will show you how to pack slider off with NO TAILGATE, and this is NOT RECOMMENDED by Basic Research. For anyone that gets a copy of this video, please remember to set your tailgate! The most logical time to do this is right after you've set your brakes...because then you're in the perfect position to pick up your tailgate lines and walk them up to the canopy. If you own BR gear and use the packing video, please use it in tandem with your Owner's Manual, which will have the details of the tailgate, the Multi, etc.

I had a flurry of requests for the BR Video Manual.
I had a batch reproduced professionally, and sent them out.
Now, the original has been returned to Basic Research.
I kept one of the copies for my video library.
If anybody else wants a packing video,
please contact BR or CR or Vertigo...
