Going back to the original question, what is the highest exit point that you guys have jumped from. I'm asking in terms of height from exit to landing. How long of a delay do you take?

highest BASE i ever did were 900ft from an A,first stowed and slider up and 4 sec delay,its also the only slider up and stowed i have ever done....

My longest is about 5500 feet, exit to landing.

I think that the current record for longest freefall is probably the Robibird/Outrager flights this past summer, some of which, I think, were over 2000 meters exit to landing, and over 2 minutes of freefall time. I think those had all been jumped by other people (getting less freefall and spending more of the flight under canopy) before, though.

2700' from that big cliff in Mexico.

Once I got comfortable (I usually jump in Moab, so the first few skydive length BASE jumps did NOT feel natural) video showed that my delays were 15-16 seconds.

My highest is from 1500' off a 1900' A. Couldn't get to the top.

The highest in terms of exit to landing is actually not that easy to answer ;-) Current objects in this category tend to have a fixed exit altitude and rolling hills down below - better you fly, more altitude you gain.

At the moment an altitude gain of 6500' (1950m) has been achieved in a wingsuit but the object can be pushed much further. Same can be easily done under canopy, mixing up BASE with a lot of paragliding. There are other spots where you could potentially get an even longer canopy ride, with a short freefall or static-line jump.

Regular freefalls in 1300m (4300') range are routinely made from multiple objects, with additional canopy time on top of that.

It has just occured to me that the little static line over the glacier in France is exactly 2800 meters from exit to landing. That makes it a 9,186 ft jump by the original question criteria (i.e. altitude from exit to landing).

Come visit and I'll take you to the one I'm talking about.

Did I mention that it has an elevator?

6 ant's over 1900ft, 3 were 2000ft. All in the same state. 3300ft E. overseas.

2000 meters, thats about 6500 feet if my math is correct, but how is 2 minutes of freefall possible from that kind of altitude? Even with a wingsuit, this seems high to me.

Two minutes seems high to me too. But I'm not one of the world's top wingsuit pilots.

Having seen both Robibird and Outrager fly, I'd say that two minutes is more than possible. Then again, I'd also say they're probably the two best wingsuit pilots on earth.

You also have to remember that they are getting nearly all their altitude in freefall (i.e. they are pulling around 300 feet over the landing area).

who are those guys? I've never heard of them before. Got any links or anything?
