I'm curious to know how you get out of this situation.

Do you just hope and pray?

I have a feeling that this is someone that is very close to this board!! - but i maybe wrong.......... he certainly had a similar situation with pics..........

And he cut the steering line to clear it!

In short, I did this:

1) Released toggles.

2) Straightened canopy flight, and aimed away from cliff.

3) Pumped toggles (twice) to try to clear line over.

4) Used hook knife to cut toggle off, which cleared the malfunction.

5) Steered in to (wrong) landing area using one toggle.

6) Landed on both rear risers, with the good toggle in my hand.

edit to add: I was, of course, hoping and praying throughout.

i do belive he landed in high grass,which aint alowed in the wally,i do belive noone asked him after the mal he had(i could be wrong...)

was it difficult to find your hook knife in your handbag? I prefer to keep them more accessible, but, as you've pointed out in the past, they do not accessorise well. At least you landed OK. Good job.

Clearly, you aren't keeping up on the latest fashion trends. Hook knives are now available in a wide range of fashion colors, for proper accesorizing.
