Yea, he just does a hop-n-pop from 400', lands on the basket at 180' where he dropped off his second rig on the way up, and then does a low freefall to the ground from the 180' basket
Now we just have to teach him the McConkey so he doesn't have to climb down with an unpacked rig from 180'.

OK maybe I'm a wuss, but freefalling from 180 is just.... sick. What kind of setup are you using for those?

Vertex(2pin) whith a Fox265 vtec(NO VALVES) multibr 5th line mod,46´ZP AV PC(CR).Knee pads albow pads,helmet and alot of black humor... Could use some more body armor(to my back),but so far i has been so dumb to use my mony on anything else get between 2-4 sec under canopy,just enough to pop toogles and flare.. NICE ground ruch

Jesus I was using a similar setup freefalling from 240 (Warlock, Ace 220, 46' CR apex-vented PC) and figured 220-ish was about the limit of my comfort level.

forgot to say... pins half pulled,open flap,and making a werry good ,massage of the rig so theres nearly no tention on the pins.


Rember.. freefalling aint the same as going loads of sec´s i go and through from that alti..

Psst,Mac teased me by a chiken 1 sec delay from a B in UK(240ft),which caused a treelanding... If i had hold it .5sec more i would have landed were i were sopoused to landinstead i impressed him by a landing at the smallest place i could find there went through the tree and landed nice standing,but whith the canopy still in the tree(not in the middel of the tree),lucky me UK trees are as bad as the people there so i were away from there (whith an "uninjuryed"canopy) just sec´s later...

personaly i dont go stowed(so far) from below 600ft.Its a mind job,but i just cant see the benefit unless you are doing arials.how ever freefalling 400ft handheld be sure to secure the bridel proberly,so you dont get a premature opening.Should be said that i dont suck it all the way down,but usaly takes between 2-3 sec delay.
