I have banned the three of you from this forum for four days. I think we all need a cooling off period.

I am at bridge day, and haven't the time or energy to police this forum as vigorously as it obviously needs for the next few days.

Please, let's just sit and calm down for a few days. You can all start posting again after I get home on Monday, and can keep an eye on the discussion.

While I try to intervene as little as possible in these forums (especially in this one) there should be no illusion with anyone that I will do whatever is necessary to protect the character that I'm envisioning for Dropzone.com. This is a friendly, inviting and inclusive place where people should feel safe to voice their opinions. I would rather shut this forum down than have it any other way.

I will not hesitate to permanently remove the posting permissions of anyone who abuse the privilege. I am in awe and very honored to have you guys hang out here, but I'm by no stretch of the imagination into "pleasing everyone". If you've been here for a while you'll know that, if not, take note.

These are hard times for a lot of people in the BASE community. I understand that and my thoughts are with you. You can help each other through it by showing respect and compassion.

Lets keep our cool.
