I've probably made more night than day cliff jumps.

Many of the U.S.'s best big walls are done primarily as night jumps, since they are on land where the government would prefer not to see us jumping.

hmm think i were thinking another way,that if its a legal place then it mioght not good to jump it at night,unless you get the promission.

As im still a newbie,and mostly does slider off jumps,i dont know much about cliffs around here....

In the latest 2 years, there have been an average of 6 BASE jumpers completing the word B.A.S.E. every month.
Now (Sep 2003) we are at about BASE #850, with 150 left to 1000, at a rate of 6/month, in 25 months from now there should be a bloke/doll whose number will be BASE #1000, that would be roughly in October 2005.
Just for those who love statistics.

Not sure of the email address as I lost it – but I thought you had to send via snail mail your application?? With some cash to cover postage, card and general time?!

Mike's right and those email addresses look correct.

I think it's traditional to send them a letter with a $5-10 donation detailing the dates and times of your four qualifying objects. They work on a voluntary basis.

I believe they will wait a month before issuing numbers, i think this is so they can go by the dates on a fair basis.

I beleive that they wait for 30days to allow mail from all different time zones a reasonable time to arrive and thus issue numbers of qualifying jumps on a fair basis when more than one person achieved BASE on the same day but in different parts of the world.
