How much do you weigh and when/where do you intend to use this for BASE?

I used a 1982 Wonderhog Vector/Cruislite for BASE before (early/mid-90s) - when I weighed less (around 170 lbs). I tip the scale around 190 now. I currently use a Vertex and a FOX 265 for BASE. Personally, If I bought another canopy now, I would strongly consider going larger yet.

Why not just take the chance and jump it? i mean... its skydive gear,what could posibly go wrong?

I believe the gear is for skydiving in order to get the jumping experience before he hucks himself off a bridge.

Your advice is on the money though...use BASE gear for BASE (and for picking up chicks).

why is it you´ll need to pay for your chicks?theres plenty of them just take use the mony on BASE instead
