Yes. The mod isn't very hard. Any good rigger ought to be able to do it.

No. The Flik has shorter lines, and different trim from the FOX. If you tried to mix and match lines, it would likely be an unqualified disaster. Definitely don't try this.

Okay your answer no leads to 2 qs

1. i thourgth that smaller canopies have shorter lines but equal canopies would have aprox same length writing aprox becours of different canopies(mean whith in 2 cm).Meaning that in my world should a Flik 266 and a Fox 265 have aprox the same length(happy you tell othervise).

2.My local rigger aint sure in BASE gear, and im not sure he will be happy to do this for me whith out getting told exactly what to do..Could any write it here,PM or email it to me? If you have done it to a Fox 265 vtec multibr i would be happy if yoy have somthing i can show the rigger

Line length is a function of the canopy's trim, mostly. The designers can vary line length to effect various characteristics. In this case, BR decided the Flik should have shorter lines than the FOX. (Just as an example, the Ace has significantly longer lines, even in roughly equal sizes).

The Little Aussie put a good, detailed post on BLiNC a while back, explaining how to do the mod. Let me see if I can dig it up.

Re: [TomAiello] Flik
it has been my perception, based upon what I've read and seen, that slightly shorter lines yields a little less oscillation (pendulum) in squares. The amount of curve in a canopy translates directly to what would be dihedral in fixed-wing aircraft. more curve - more dihedral - greater stability. Of course there is always a compromise; shorter lines means more curve in the crown-rigged planform and, likewise, reduced projected (useful) surface area. I wonder if this is part of the reason for the shorter lines on the flik? accuracy jumpers used to shorten their lines for this very purpose. since base is all about accuracy and geeking the camera, then maybe this is at least part of the reason this route has been taken on the flik. but what do I know.
