I recently purchased a Bushnell 1000 which claims to be good for 1500m +/- 1.0m. On a basalt cliff face, I can't get readings higher than 1080m, but that's not bad for many uses.

I got it off ebay for $250.00.

I dont mind pay the price of good equitment,but dont want to pay to much or for getting the rigth name.It just have to work...
