This made me laugh.

He actually called me asking about a course last year. I don't think he'd made a skydive yet at that point. He told me all about his plan to pound through wing suiting and how he'd already lined up the newspaper reporter to get himself some publicity starting out.

To his credit, he seems to have actually carried through on his plan, which is not the case for the vast majority of people I talk to at that stage.

I'm sure he'll be lighting the world of BASE on fire in another couple months here...
