I'm still doing Summo (or at least I will when I'm better) but I've got to say that video is really catchy and a very cool looking product.

Just take an old wingsuit with separate arm/leg wings, cut arm wings completely, and fly only with the leg wing. Either in normal tracking position, or with arm(s) stretched forward like a Superman (for BASE, temporarily stretching arms forward to set proper AoA and reduce the radius of the start arc would probably be necessary; not necessary in skydiving). You will leave any tracksuit/onesie/mutation/wingsuit in the dust.

Why no one else is doing this and why manufacturers are not making leg-wing-only half-wingsuits, is beyond me.

Great to hear! I started doing it in 2005 with Prodigy pants, then also with Phantom-1 and Vampire-2 cut in half (also like pants), and finally, with my V-4 with broken arm zippers, I simply cut the arm wings off and started flying like a Superman.

It just takes ridiculously long time for any innovation/fresh thought to finally catch with minds in wingsuit industry.

Perhaps, we'll see some ideas from here (actually conceived long time ago) in a few years?

Re: [c_dog] Squirrel Mutation suit
First I am a suit designer for an other manufacturer please take this in consideration.

What I think after looking to videos and talking with some owner:
- having to unzip the arm after opening to be comfortable is annoying
- no possibility to put the arms up at the exit
- some problem with the legwing that was cracking in the middle when a too long step was done, specially at the landing. This has been reinforced and should not be a problem anymore
- very stable like others SQ suit
- performances are not at the level of the others for the data I got for now, but not a lot of people are flying it in BASE
- very good suit for FF and grips

Re: [powdaboy] Squirrel Mutation suit
I got mine first of summer and put about 10 skydives on her. Flew great, stable, just turn your head and it would go. Took it to Switzerland and made about 8-10 base jumps. Cliffs are lowish, so you really need to burn it down and the suit will take off once you hit terminal. I was initially not getting as far away from the wall, come to find out from video, my arms weren't close to my side that they needed to be. My last flight was my best and then had to go home. Great suit for anyone that get's scared having their arms locked up in a typical wingsuit.
