Any chance that you guys can make BFL a flat HTML page, sorted in reverse chronological order? The way it is now, it's almost unusable mess. For example, to find recent wingsuit no pull fatalities, one has to sift through each individual BFL # page; with flat HTML, it would be a simple search on the page.

 

Yep the way it used to be was more easily usable, where you can just read the descriptions without having to open every single one individually.

Can we also have it set up to highlight the lack of innovation in the wingsuits used in each fatality. That would be really helpful for arguing on the internet too.

Are you able to create an alternate, BFL only Facebook account so the posts are accessible to every BASE jumper who is part of the group? I know of at least 3 people who are blocked by you and are unable to see any posts.

 

Facebook is a much more widely used platform and the format is much easier to use. Now that it's shifted there, don't you think it's better to allow full access to all? Otherwise it defeats the purpose of what you're doing.

 

The three people who you blocked dared to question your point of view on BASE related topics and you just blocked them. Seems to me that you're a bit too sensitive, which is funny to me given the context of the BFL. If it wasn't for a request to Mick Knutson I'd still be in the dark in the BFL Facebook page too after being blocked previously for challenging you on the details of an incident.

What sets the FB page apart from the website is the supplementary details people add in the comments section. They are quite helpful in understanding the incident in more detail with background info etc. And to your comment about the page being yours, is it? Because it seems to me like you are just administering info that belongs to the community. Not you.

 

It's not your profile page. It's the BFL page. And you, Brad Patfield, are adding the info under your account. In turn, those you have blocked, and there are more than I mentioned, miss out. Simple as that.

So I'm someone blocked from seeing anything you post, quite frustrating as I have to ask my friends to send me screenshots of the FB BFL as that is updated much faster than blinc.

Could you please message me so we can sort it out. Psymon Young is my FB name. I feel I'm a reasonable fella, not even a fuckwit. I'm a very active jumper and feel it's unreasonable for petty misunderstandings to block me from this info.

You could always start your own incidents page
