Wind alerts
I jump a number of different guyed As, and live in area where winds vary quite a bit between locations due to topography. Sometimes I miss good wind windows because I'm not constantly checking a million forecasts.

Is anyone aware of an app or website that lets you set a wind direction or speed range to get an email alert or anything like that? I like spotwx since I can have an account and bring up all my forecasts from one dropdown but it does not have anything like an alert option.

Re: [ChaseTheHorizon] Wind alerts
Where you located? If nothing else, you could build a little app pretty easily with the free tier of the Weather Underground API that could text or email you every time the wind speed fell within the necessary parameters.

I have a friend who might know what some of these words mean, I'm afraid I'm not the most techy.

In the mean time I'll try the windy.com alerts,

Thanks!
