It’s cool but people have done this sort of thing with no wingsuit and freefalled back into a plane....doesn’t count as a landing at all..

Well, from earh to plane is new, isnt it? And it is a landing in to a plane still packed! So if it is not a landing, you will might call it docking?

Patrick flew a wingsuit back into a Porter in the late 90's. Granted, not off a cliff, but think how relatively crappy his suit must have been and the state of knowledge.

I know most of the history from the 80'ies and up to date, and are awere of how much it is takes to achieve a first like that. His suit was not crappy, it was high tech for the time being, as for every one who daring trying a first, and succeed.
