I totally agree with your comment about the idiot who posted names and the site. No shit this is uncool. The guard will likely lose his job. We issue the BASE numbers and when Carl Boenish started these numbers and Jean gave them to us to continue a couple years after Carl died, we all pledged to keep the spirit of BASE alive. Part of that spirit was not naming names of fellow jumpers, or guards that helped you especially when you also name the site. If you are BASE 1995 I know who you are from the BASE book and you are from Canada. If it is you, you should email me at cliffleaper@aol.com to explain why your name even belongs in the BASE book. You are probably right. I thought the same with the word quid, but when a jumper sings "basejumper 1995" I assumed it was a BASE number since we are used to communicating with jumpers using their BASE numbers. If BASE 1995 reads this and it's not you, sorry. Birth year sounds more like it with no common sense and maybe no BASE number.
