Slider for terminal WS vented
Hi,
I never experienced but heard that vented canopies are not the best for terminals. How about WS terminal with 36 pc and small mesh slider? Using Troll dw 245. Any suggestion? Is it going to be a heard deployment?

I use a fully vented Fox for wingsuit (Phantom) with a big mesh slider and 38 PC, no issues.

I would be very surprised if the large majority i jumpers weren't using vented canopies for terminal jumps. Then if you're flying a wingsuit properly the openings should be significantly softer then normal deployments anyway.

I have around 500ísh terminal deployments with vented Trolls out of which 100 or so are with WS, majority with them are with large mesh slider. I have never experienced hard openings with them, on the contrary I´ve moved to use 38" PC´s if I jump my regular 265 vented Troll on terminal as it was opening too soft with a 36. With my 245 UL vented Troll (which is my normal SU canopy) I use a 36".

OSP for everything. Fantastic slider up canopy (maybe not slick).

i jump a vented troll 245 with a 38"pc and small mesh slider.
i started out with a 36" and moved up to a 38". my troll has 5 vents and ive done over 200 ws base jumps with it. i started with a large mesh slider and had a couple hard openings, plus i was worried about the large mesh catching my tailgate. (i know its probably never going to cause a problem, but i didnt like that it was possible.)
