Jerusalem?
Anyone around or know the state of play there?
I am presuming the IDF don't have much of a sense of humor at the moment.

I get in to town on the 13 for a week.

Laters,

Re: [jools] Jerusalem?
I wouldn't even consider jumping in the old city.
there are a lot of building in TelAviv and Haifa you might get lucky with.
be aware of the strange wires above most streets.
I went out to the Negev and found a bunch of nice cliffs.
there is actually a nice platform out there to static line if you like low and gnarly. if you do decide to jump in the Negev, do it early in the morning. the sun will beat you down, im a florida guy who is used to the sun, and it sucked! pm me if you want some beta on the Negev. i've also heard there are some wingsuitable cliffs near the dead sea. but they are a pretty good hike.

Low and gnarly.... sounds exactly like the kind of jumps Julian likes! He'll probably freefall it though Laugh

He won't freefall the static line spot, with a static line you are clearing talus by less than 20' with a heap of ghost ridden bicycles at the bottom. Great visuals tho!

Have been in israel for a week, there is TONS to do around the beaches, Jerusalem might be a bit tough though. Also the Dead Sea was 110 degrees on Saturday when we went, probably should skip those hikes for now!

Telaviv has a bunch of good spots. I went but didn't bring my rig. I stayed at the Hilton on the beach and the have a perfect balcony. Super easy to access. Got to the 17th floor, walk to the balcony and SL on to the beach. Super easy and no cops. If I ever go back that'll be the first spot I hit.
