There has been a second incident this evening in the same area. Norwegian news media reports the person has been lifted by rescue helicopter to hospital. Condition of the jumper is unknown.
So two incidents, not related, in close viscinity but in different locations today. One fatality and one unknown

Hi I was jumping with the second incident, we jumped Gudvangen first and decided to repack and do Flåm because shorter, easier hike.
As you know, Heat, a tradional 4 to 5 second slider up jump.
I exited first and lande and turned to watch my friend exit, missed his exit but saw his canopy facing the wall, he was a good distance from the wall and if it was a simple 180 he had plenty of time to turn but unfortunately he had line twists and hit the wall about 100 meters from exit (wall is 250 m ), canopy reinflated once and then struck the wall a second time and collapsed and never reinflated with jumper sliding down and impacting at the base of the wall.
Jumper was wearing body armor including back shield, and is conservative, experienced, and very current.
Multiple serious injuries mostly on right side, but now in stable condition in Bergen undergoing surgery for a badly fractured pelvis.
Unfortunately rescue helicopters were tied up at Gudvangen and response time was slower than normal for Norway.
The Norwegian Air Ambulance and Air rescue are absolutely amazing, and I can't say enough good things about them.
