It is my 30th anniversary of BASE. And I get to hang out with a 33yr veteran!!!!! ;-) I saw so so much in the maturation of the sport. Rock on!!!! (how do i "like"my own post?)

Congratulations mate , massive achievement staying alive so long. You must be really old by now !
What equipment were you using back then?

I was jumping a Vector skydiving rig with an early model of Raven 3. The reserve was a Phantom 26 lopo lite that I jumped on my 51st jump from a 600ft A on purpose. I just took off the spring loaded PC and bridle and replaced it with a BASE PC and bridle. Them were the daze ;-)

Your gear was still better than mine I started in 98 with an invader container with the sorcerer conversion and my trusty 250 tempo as a main.
The tempo only tried to kill me once.

Did you make a few jumps a year, every year for the entire 30 years or did you have some time off? How about injuries?

I´ve had a coupla some odd years grounded because of injury. My neck was the only BASE injury and it manifested itself a year later. My rigs stayed packed ready to roll at a moments notice ;-)
