Re: [Fox285] One piece tracking suit opinions?
Also just do not take the skyderby.ru data for a final result.
To know the real performances you have to find a jump with a contant glide at a constant full speed for at least 15 seconds, this will be the max glide of the jumper with the suit on the exit.
If the speed is going down it means that the jumper is in a flare, it can be a long flare but it's still a flare.
Also compare suits on the same jump, because the tracksuit are very speed dependents, the more speed you got the more glide you can get. The more height you got at the start the more glide you might got from this exit.
So to compare suits performances with skyderby you need:
- same constant full speed
- same exit
For example (of course I will use one of my tracks to compare):
-
https://skyderby.ru/tracks/9360: glide just over 2, 2.2 with a light flare as the full speed decrease a bit before the "pulling flare".
-
https://skyderby.ru/tracks/14363: glide to 1.9 at max speed and up to 3.5 with a long constant flare until the pull.
For the 2 pull is just around 40 seconds, 2nd one before by 2 seconds, which is 5%, so it's a really faster, BUT compare where the 2 pull happened, where the line is getting dark green again:
-
https://skyderby.ru/tracks/9360/map -
https://skyderby.ru/tracks/14363/map And this show that with a glide ratio that is over 2.3 for 15 seconds going over 3.5 you might not going as far as if you have nerver passed the 2.2 glide ratio.
BTW I do not say that my suits is overall flying better by showing this because data are cool, but they really need to be compared to the same ones.
