Jhonny Flores flies on in the open source community
I just attended the DataWorks Summit 2017 in Munich which is one of the largest gatherings of the Big Data & Analytics open source IT community around the HADOOP technologies. It was an unexpected but a pleasant surprise to see one of the vendor companies running a promo film featuring Jhonny Flores flying a WS branded in the company colors in Lauterbrunnen. The film was really nice, had interviews of him etc and very nice air-to-air footage of the flights as well. Seeing his friendly face and huge smile brought really nice memories to my mind of the times we spent together in the Alps. Fly on amigo!
