how to clear line twist
I voted pulling them together. Not to get out of them, but to get the twists lower and get me closer to lines I can control. My absolute last priority in line twists on a BASE jump is getting out of them. Correct my heading, find home, maintain heading, and get into my intended or improvised flight pattern, and if I have to flare plf and land before the idea of getting out of twists. I've never seen a semitrical spinup of a base canopy that deformes the airfoil badly that it could not be safely landed if could get above the twists.
I know this is easier said than done, and if I have the altitude I always opt for getting out of the twists after getting into my flight path, but there is tons of video out there of guys who are now really wishing they would have fought for control lines instead of trying to spin out.
