Try www.worldnomads.com for insurance, looks like they still cover BASE.

The only exclusion they have listed that could apply is Extreme Sports, I suppose that could be just about anything nowadays.

Looks like AIG will cover it, no mention of skydiving, parachuting, extreme sports, or anything that could be confused with it.

read section d under exclusions. If they feel that mountaineering is extreme..... BASE must be as tame as horseback riding. Unless it's truly written, I'd personally error on the side to talk with them personally than to get whacked and find out your screwed. Just my 3cents.

WorldNomads specifically has BASE Jumping on the list of things they cover under their Explorer insurance. You must be from the USA and you must buy the explorer package.

I just called AIG, its actually a add on they offer for $5.08. Its called the Adventure Sports Coverage and it covers evacuation and medical.

Try AirBnB. There are a lot of places nearby. I found places in Pietramurata pretty easily.

I haven't been able to get in touch with Fabio, but he normally has apartments for rent to jumpers in Sarche.
