General BASE

Euro BASE
Hello,

I'm headed to Grafenwoehr, Germany at the end of January and i'll be over there til October. Aside from working Monday-Friday I'm trying to get as much BASE jumping in as I can on the weekends. I'm still pretty new to the sport with only 45 jumps off all 4 objects, no terminal, only 3 slider up. If there are any one in that area that wouldn't mind getting in contact and showing me around I'd really appreciate it. Feel free to direct message me.

Thanks!

Hey Adam,

I don't live in Germany, I live in a more cheesy part of Europe, but just wanted to give you a little help. With so little jumps it is quite an investment to take you out. Generally, people don't want to put in that kind of work, especially if they don't know you (at least the people you want to get hooked up with) - and frankly it's just scary.

Anyone who jumps at mentoring you with tons of excitement is doing it for the wrong reasons.

If I was you I would contact the person who taught you, or maybe one of your friends back home that has years of experience and ask them to hook you up with people over here in Europe. You're for sure more likely to get hooked up with good people you can trust. If that doesn't work, start by offering to ground crew - usually how these relationships start positively.

Cheers and hope that helps
