The last few years a group of jumpers have turned the circus known as 'turkey boogie' into a fundraiser. We spend the week enjoying Moab, and one night the party raises money for the local search and rescue as well as the the bureau of land management that supports BASE. Typically the raffle is only for people that are at the boogie, this year we have manufacturers that have found ways to Hook everyone up. In the past we have given away canopies, containers, wingsuits, tracksuits, pcs, and so much more, this year we will do the same.

*for every proxy canopy sold by performance designs between a few weeks ago and our boogie PD is donating $500 directly towards legal American BASE.

*nick burden of Blacksheep rigging is donating 20% of container, 10% of base accessories to the fundraiser.

*apex is selling $50 raffle tickets to people around the world starting now. The winner, as long as 26 tickets are sold, receives a custom Alex canopy!!!! For every 50 tickets sold they will donate yet another canopy. That's canopies for $50!!!!!

You all can get hooked up and give back to one of the most amazing places on the planet that just happens to be a place that supports BASE.

Classic Air Medical. They are the local medical helicopter and work with SAR on missions. They do have memberships (just like REGA).

We as jumpers need to start playing in our own backyard in the same way we play in Europe.

Air medical helicopter rescue is has sponsored the fundraiser every year. Having their coverage is super affordable and even more intelligent.

A canopy is given away for every 50 tickets sold!

If you would like to pay with a check, money order, cash that's ok too. I just need to receive the payment prior to the fundraiser (make payable to grand county search and rescue. $50 raffle tickets and some one gets a custom canopy. Every fifty tickets sold is another canopy given away.

I'm Matt. We have run this event for four years. As I said, you can send money directly to grand county search and rescue too. We have raised $23,000 for local search and rescue the past three years. Apex will be advertising shortly, too, so you can get a better feel for validity.

We are selling tickets until the fundraiser, November 23. All names will be put in a bucket. One winner will be picked for every 50 tickets sold. The last few years we have given away containers, canopies, cameras, and everything else base.

We will be raffling off all kinds of other gear and wingsuits just like previous years. In the past you had to be present to win. For the $50 apex canopy raffle you DO NOT need to be present. So for this item people around the world are valid

Yes. In the past we kept the raffle for people that attended the boogie only. This year we tried a few new ways to raise a few extra bucks for our cause. At the moment the only prize you can win is the apex canopy. We are selling shirts, accepting donations, and several manufacturers are making donations based on orders.

We sold well over 100 tickets for the canopy raffle. That means Alex gave two parachutes to the cause. Joey stokes and Jamie Crawford won the parachutes.
