Gray Hound
What have I always said about gray hound? Never Ever Ride Gray Hound. A young teen age girl is safer hitch hiking and accepting a ride from a stranger in a white van then riding gray hound.

I'm surprised it made the news. This is typical. I could tell you about the guy that freaked out and had to be physically restrained, think gang wrestling match in the aisle, or the guy sitting next to me cutting a drug deal on the phone and talking about a warrant for his arrest, but their are just too many stories. And that's from just one trip.

Just say NO to gray hound.

Re: [RiggerLee] Gray Hound
Greyhound sucks, lots of shady characters. I've only been on a greyhound bus once. But it was after I was released from prison and I needed a ride back home and only had $150 in gate money.

I've used Grey Hound 3-4 times. It's certainly not the most luxurious accommodation, but it works well when you're a poor college student who needs to travel across the country to see your family for holidays. You'd be best off to dress like you don't have money, as people will constantly be coming up to you asking for favors (the same applies to every train station in New York City).

I actually met a guy who had just gotten out of prison on one of my rides. He asked to use my phone to call home and tell his family that he was coming home, and I figured he couldn't exactly run off with it while we were on a moving bus. A girl sitting next to us this saw this, asked to use my phone, and then proceeded to pull out her phone, get the number for the person she wanted to call, and then use my phone to call so she didn't have to use her minutes. That's the kind of thing that would irritate me a little before I started BASE jumping. But those little things seem to matter less and less the more adventures I have.
