My new green name
Recently, some people, myself included, pointed out that there was only one active moderator who was also a relatively new and inexperienced jumper. Despite this not necessarily being a requirement to moderate an online forum, there was agreement that it would be nice to have someone with more experience be in the same position as well. I complained enough about it that I soon became the top candidate for the job.

As a newly minted online base jumping god, I thought it would be nice to introduce myself a bit, and admit potential biases.

Ive been jumping since May of 2007, and have just under 2200 jumps at this time. About 700 of these are in a wingsuit, but around 300 are static lines/freefalls below 200ft. I believe a good base jumper is well rounded, and Ive always felt that the number of objects is more important than the number of jumps. I used to consider myself a pretty rad proximity flier and exit opener, but those days are coming to a close.

I dont frequent the Perrine, and I dont care for base politics much. I have no personal problem with Tom, but I can understand a lot of the points being made. I am a rigger and have two of the best base rigging mentors in the world in Pete S and Marty.

I jump asylum and squirrel gear. Ive known matt and mike since long before squirrel was a thing, and Marty taught me how to sew, so bias admitted. I have what I consider to be personal relationships with quite a few manufacturers including jimmy/marta, todd, tony, and robi (though he secretly plots to kill me). Though I enjoy a good brand war, I promise not to moderate based on any personal preferences.

I really hope that the board continues to be a place where people can ask questions, get mocked slightly, and learn how to do this sport safely. Feel free to PM me with any questions or concerns. Im sure my friends will chime in with plenty of extra info.

Would this be the same site owners, part owners, advisors, or officers responsible for enforcing (through other moderators) the continued banning of grigri1, 2, 3...7...n?

Interesting, as I have it on authority that said banning continues under your watch. It seems to stem back to your own instigation towards that user some 12-13 years ago.

What was it you, Tom, advocated or supported (potentially in your common attempts at sucking up to other more experienced jumpers)? Dragging him behind a car? I'll leave just that much here... You're fully capable of explaining the rest of what you posted, edited, re-edited a few times, then deleted.

But keep hiding behind that whole "the owners" thing. This is your own little marketing site for your pathetic little Stolen Valor BASE school. It's catching up to you.

At least in adding hjumper33 there might be some semblance of respectability to the moderation and balance out your little puppet.

FWIW, Peter was permanently banned for repeatedly creating new logins to post when he was banned for making personal attacks. Attempts to bypass the moderation and constantly and repeatedly breaking the forum rules are the same things that other people have been banned for in the past, both here and on DZ.com.

Well, we share messages and pictures when visiting mutual friends. He was very kind in reaching out to me when I was having a rough time after Dean's death, and I have a ton of respect for the man. I mean, hes not my best bud or anything, but I guess I wouldnt really call it a "professional relationship" since I havent bought a suit from him in a while (still fly my Ted Rudd long/wides though).

If I wasnt a moderator, I would make some kind of homosexualish joke about personal relationships, but alas, those days are gone.
