I, too, wish him the very best of luck and I'm sure he is approaching it as intelligently as he can, but this just screams "bad idea".

When Gary Connery did his jump, I *wanted* to believe and along with a bunch of others here, stayed up all night and watched it live. I will always consider him one of the baddest motherfuckers on the planet for doing it.

For Luke Aikens' jump, though, I think I'm going to wait until afterwards to decide whether I want to watch.

Those two jumps is far far from simular. I wish him a good jump and soft landing, and his family happy tears after.
