WinkWinkWinkI love a good story about a cross box stitch..

Re: [base283] Rigging thoughts
Where's the all but harness stitching option? Mainly because I'm confused on what you mean by that one.

Re: [GreenMachine] Rigging thoughts
The oversew should be on the in front position. the other way would be that the over sew was weakest at the point loading damaging the integrity of the 4 point diamond stitch.

ps, i can show the dynamics later. i am a bit busy.

Diamond patterns are for old men, it's all about circular bartacks now! And yes to all ;)

My subject was meant without an articulated harness. Sorry that a dinosaur like me didn´t make a clarification.
Circular stitching for harness has been around for 3 decades +. in the paragliding world.

I will give chase to this but I am busy at the moment.
simple load bearing box X is at least 45° out of load vector line if it is correctly sewn.

Rigging and Manufacturing
I can do all of the rigging listed and
several things not listed, with ease.

I have also made gear but basically
the guy told me what to sew while
he was working on something else.

RE: Sewing a Harness

I have seen a harness machine,
heard experienced people talk
about the variations, but have
never actually made my own...

Re: [Fledgling] Rigging and Manufacturing
Hey Fledgling,
I wrote in time instead of space ;-)
so i am not current timewise. ;-P
hence the moniker "space" Muhahaha.

I have this secret coding when asking a question. I put a question mark at the end of the sentence and it looks like this "?". This means an answer is required. A "yes" or "no" is as basic as one can get.
Maybe you can help me/us understand the primal force of physics.
After all, Physics are a meeting of time and space (Muhahaha). Should we dumb down the sport engineering?
I could throw down my old mancard as I was probably BASEing before you were born. Dont get upset. let us focus on temporal feedback and bring the competency up to par versing risks...
I will edit my OP to what we come up with where time meets space (Muhahaha) to all.

With our different skillz combined, we can get a handle on rigging errors.
Just put up. It is better IMHO to ask a stoopid question and get a stoopid answer rather than not asking and remaining stoopid,

Yes I understand this. You are actually one of the few people on here that I assume knows what he is talking about. Even if it is hard to read.

I assure you that I am not upset, it's actually defined as sarcasm.

As for your poll, I would mark "Yes to all the above". But these posts:

are still very cryptic and I suspect the majority of jumpers on here have no fucking clue what you are talking about anyway. I am assuming you are talking about a hip junction but am not certain. If so I have more questions about your posts.
