Always have a form of communication when you jump, it could just save your life.

I know of 1 guy whose life was saved by his phone and a couple of lives that could* have been saved if they HAD.

I like this very much.

I also recommend having a Motorolla radio.

Many people are visiting with no communication and this can make a basic situation turn ugly quickly.

Selfies and snapchat also use a lot of phone battery so people may not have battery when they need it.

When I was the Instructor in Kjerag for a few years , every year a radio would save at least 1-3 jumpers lives. Its not much to get a radio and it fits in your pockets of suit or wingsuit easily..

If you can afford a go pro you can afford a radio

Is there one anyone would recommend?
I'm thinking about buying a pair but don't know anything about it!
Is there a specific frequency range that I should look for?
Do anybody knows which frequency they use in LB? I could take mine to exits that don't have a radio.

And do what? Better bring your phone and call Air Glacier where required.

Make sure there is not a big-way carnage from High Ultimate coming over my head when I'm doing Flower Box, radio my girlfriend so she can take pictures and see how awesome I am and find out if there are any paragliders underneath because I'm scared to look over the edge

Most people jumping HU dont even track past FBox, no danger there!

I remember a long while ago a guy cutting himself on razor wire and almost bleeding to death before he even got to the exit.

i feel better with a telephone and a gps satellite messenger... if there is no phone connection or the impact to hard to be able to speak you just have to push a button.
