Why would you think that it's ok to wish people dead just because it's Facebook? That is idiotic. If he truly cared about the people in this sport he would be spreading love not hate right now, no matter how emotional he may be.

Unfortunately, there seems to be a large number of people with low or zero Emotional Intelligence(EI) who use facebook or forums to spout such careless hatred.


What Is Emotional Intelligence?
Maybe all of of should take some time to cultivate our EI to help others in rough times that we all will probably experience in this sport.

I don't think there's anything to gain by spreading Andy's rant across more of the internet, or by more people ragging on him for a poorly judged emotional reaction.

This would be a better thing to talk about - a scathing, but accurate and above all highly constructive critique of the state of wingsuit base - from someone who knows how things are done when they're done properly.

This is America and if Andys' words hurt you that much, then a wall on a 180 is going to be a really shitty surprise.

If his words have any affect on you or yours going in I'm not sure you have the right thickness of skin or self reliance required for you to participate this sport.

I am constantly amazed by the way we as base jumpers are able to elevate jersey shore level bullshit to an entertaining boiling point where nearly all relevant life saving data points are overshadowed by need to know that you took a relevant stance on a non relevant issue in the brief time you will be relevant to the sport.
