Re: [mariobat] ABX feedback
i am jumping two abx systems, but am having not too many jumps on them yet. i feel very comfy and well in them - to me openings appear significant better than to the classic systems.

maybe i can help you better if you tell me more what exactly you like to know?

Re: [elex] ABX feedback
Hi Elex and thanks!
I have done a little reflection about how it works (off course I'm not a rigger or expert ecc ecc): this sistem is born to avoid line twist mainly,
Could this feature help to have off headings?

..puuuh hard to tell - but i personally feel like the other way around:
- not sure if it really helps to avoid linetwists (i think yes it does) but sure is that it helps to keep the risers symmetrical in the twist so it might be less stressy to recover.
- i am pretty much sure it helps to have headings, since i am jumping ABX i never had offheadings (never more than 2° on SD / 10° on SU). BUT: i believe that beside the bodyposition it is the pilotchute that causes most of the offheadings due oscillation - and with the new ABX i also switched to Snatch-PC's, so i cannot purley clarify what of the both changes really made the bigger difference. the combination of both definiteley does!

Re: [mariobat] ABX feedback
I was at the Adrenalin HQ last summer and they explained the ABX concept is imported from paragliding, where it has been used for years. The idea is that during the opening, in case of asymmetrical body position, the X design will help to equalize the pull on the risers thus reducing the chances for an off-heading and/or line twist. Have not tried it myself though.
