Has anyone here jumped the jackdaw, and would you care to share your thoughts/expierience with this container?

Also, I'm seeing pics of the new Atair OSPeak (on instagram), a hybrid of the two canopies. I'm very excited, curious and hungry for information! Anyone seen, tried one or talked to someone who have?

Been test jumping the 'PeakOsp' since last year. The method of construction is similar to the Peak giving it a much more efficient Aerofoil. The aspect ratio, angle of attack, Line trim etc are also different from the OSP so it really is a completely different Canopy. It opens faster than the OSP slider down, in fact, with the first prototype, we could not take it beyond 1 and a half seconds. Slider up when used with the 'Slow Slider', It opens very smoothly. You can kill the speed on it very quickly and its recovery arc is very quick.
Andrej and Stane have been working their magic again. There may still be a few tweaks to make and as always, a substantial amount of Jumps on the 3 or 4 prototypes out there before anything will be released to the market.

So it's not really suited for general slider down use?

Its very much suited to Slider Down, like I said, it opens faster than the OSP Slider Down, It also works incredibly well for Slider Up. Improvements at both ends of the Spectrum.

Is the OSPeak still in development?

I believe that's the development name of the canopy recently released as the Vision.

I packed mine for the first time this evening, and will jump it off Brento tomorrow. I'll have more thoughts in two weeks, after I have a chance to spend more time with it.
