Where do digital TV antennas fit in with regard to AM v FM antennas?

Or digital radio A's

Re: [Dadsy] Digital antenna
My HW engineer colleague says they are the same for the purposes of radiation exposure as a traditional analogue TV tower. Similar to FM but different frequency range

The broadcast still uses the same frequency range as and powers as analogue except the modulation of the data is digital rather than analogue

Re: [Scorp67] Digital antenna
does he say anything about the best way not to get bothered by the radiation?

Re: [Dadsy] Digital antenna
I wasn't specific about asking questions relating to sneaking up transmitting antennas.

It will be the same as per a normal FM antenna though . Duration and proximity to the transmitter increases your exposure.

More info is covered in a number of threads on this forum.

Most FM antennas are at the top of the tower so exiting lower down will help. Also due to the shape of the emitted signal, directly below the antenna has less radiation than next to it which is a good thing.

NB : wrap your junk in tinfoil if you want to prevent glow in the dark jizz Sly
