Believe me. There was no shame. But I did post it while drunk, and maybe my comments could have been less coarse. Maybe it needs to be moved to the incidents forum - but I think this would be a good lessons learned type of jump. I'd like to see what the intentional landing area looked like (pool?) and discuss actions once she popped her toggles. I think there's a few nuggets for us all to learn. Going into half- almost deep breaks but then letting it back into full flight while relatively low with little area to run it out, etc.

I never understand how quick people are to shame/judge. It's not like all those super experienced jumpers that bounced didn't fuck up.

1st - the comment above is funny.

2nd - to reply to the comment of why so quick to judge. Eh - maybe if the fear of dying from a stupid jump like lighting on a canopy on fire from a 486' bridge isn't enough to stop someone from doing stupid stuff - maybe the shame that would follow is?
