Re: [TomAiello] multiple bridle attachment

In my opinion the 4 point multi should only be used in very specialized circumstances by experienced jumpers who know the risks.
In cross wind deployments the outer attachment points can cause the canopy to spin during extraction because one of the outer attachments is loaded first.
I'll try to draw up some diagrams, but basically I'd only recommend using the 4 point multi for full terminal or zero wind jumps.
I'd recommend just removing the outer two attachments and using it as a 2 point multi.
I have around 100 jumps without multi and 2200 jumps with 4 points multi on Fox, Fox HTS and Fox ZP - 99.9% slider up.
without multi ~100 slick jumps, with multi, ~850 slick jumps, ~450 wingsuit jumps and ~900 tracksuit jumps in the mountains, sometime with medium to strong wind.
Some of my friends jumps with multi (4 points) too and have the same feelings.
If i can understand your theoretical assumptions about opening in subterminal speed with cross wind, my stats tells a totally different story :
Multi is a nice tool that give a perfect timing opening (swiss precision openings

) with a very low rate of off-headings ...
Multi rules

Theory is when you know everything but nothing works
Practice is when everything works but you don't know why
