APEX LOBO - improve the steering ....
Hello guys May be you have a good hint for me ..
I'm jumping with a brand new Apex LOBO, 350 square feet of pleasure ;)
I have to say that a part from my first impact with the ultra light material ( slippery) and the new design of the tail pocket ( really not easy to get used to ... but I'm improving ) the canopy is truly great in flaring.. no comparison at all with my old FLICK ( still I like it !).
Anyway, I find difficult the steering , as the canopy apparently turn really slow so that for now I found a good compromise with back risers but I'm wondering , which could be the cause ?
As mentioned the flare is great so in theory the break lines should be fine ... Or?
Any hint from LOBO users is welcome :)
Thanks
How much do you weigh? I have 133 jumps on my Lobo 260 now and turning slow has never been an issue. The pressure on the steering lines is higher than what you are used to on your FLiK or any other canopy for that matter so you may need to get a little more aggressive with it. Have you skydived it at all to put its through its paces?
