Anyone doing the snake river course on the 28th? I'm flying in to Boise (Landing at 1714 on the 26th) Seeing what the best way to get to Twin Falls is. Anyone taken the Greyhound? It doesn't leave till 2310 that night was seeing what other options there are aside from renting a car. ALso anyone done the Greyhound thing? Worked out ok? I'll be staying at the Super8 and I think the station is right around the corner from it.

Possibly anyone driving from Boise to Twin falls on that Saturday myself and a buddy could hitch a ride with?

Any other suggestions welcomed.

Just rent a car. It's cheap, easy, fast, and you'll be glad you've got one in Twin. It's helpful. Something like $20 a day. Worth it.

Also the drive from Boise to Twin is easy. Straight shot.

Greyhound is more dangerous than BASE jumping. 40% chance of getting stabbed with a screwdriver.

Bahaha!, Only issue is I'll have to return it back to Boise,(with Thrifty) a friend is meeting us after the course with a rental and we're going down to Arizona from Twin. I might just end up renting , boot back to Boise and then meet my friend there. I'm not too keen on getting raped in the back of a shady bus somewhere in Idaho lol

Greyhound is pretty..."rugged", although I used it several times while I was in college with great success. Definitely the best option if you are on a tight budget. That being said, now that I have a real job, I don't think I would use it again. I don't think safety is a real issue, as long as you have experience traveling and don't draw attention.

Having a rental car in Twin Falls is very convenient...a lot more convenient than a bicycle.

Give Tom a shout, he may have other students coming into Boise, might have a shuttle.

when i took a jump course a while back, i flew into boise. then i got completely ripped on some good idaho crystal meth, and actually stole a working segway. drove the fuckin thing on the shoulder of the freeway all the way to twin without a hitch. it took about 14 hours, but id say after all it was well worth it
