Does lighter weight material decay?

Would an unjumped, lightweight (Feather) canopy "decay" during normal storage?

Meaning, if a canopy was worth 2000 a year ago and was not jumped, is it still worth 2000?

Re: [WickedWingsuits] Does lighter weight material decay?
Barring any new canopies introduced into the market then no, it will not be worth $2000 in a year due to inflation(or non-inflation!). The gear would now be worth $2100. Tongue

There's no appreciable material degradation with normal (in a dry, dark place with no temperature extremes) storage.

A lightweight canopy that has been stored in a dark, dry, temperature controlled environment will completely decay as soon as it is exposed to sunlight. Send it to me for testing.Tongue
