Looks to me like it was done legally and with the permission of the park's owners. Sure the video is a bit cheesy, but I don't see anything wrong with the actions of the three jumpers. Good on them for getting legal access to a unique object.
*Edited to say that I just realized you could have been one of the three jumpers. This being basejumper.com my mind immediately assumed it was an attack post on the "youtube generation."

Yep totally above board and with permission. Got quite a lot of positive press from it.
Even had the radio suggesting other object owners should let us jump from their objects.
The video was done by the park for promotional purposes.

It is always glorious sunshine at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Only rains in the South of England. We have a similar climate to Calafornia in the NW but the girls are hotter.

Are PCA's a bit more reliable for nice quick openings on low stuff compared to Static Line? Was canopy size or wingloading an issue here?

It was a bit of a tricky exit due to the incline, inexperience in public displays, pressure to perform in front of media and general low jump numbers/overall inexperience all added up to cause an off heading. Oh and a jade canopy didn't help.

Top shelf ones are, mediocre/ok ones can be a bit iffy at times.
Anything less than average PCAs should be swaped out for SL.
