Can anyone elaborate on that?
From Memory but should be accurate enough to count.
Early 2000s
TARD - Totally Awesome Rapid Deployment
Rollover - or as many know it - McConkey
Cliff and Shane were at the Perrine. Down at Centennial park, they were discussing how to perform the TARD, and doing them off of 2 foot rocks into the grass to figure out if it was doable. After a few tries, there was no reason to believe it wouldn't work. They went up to the top and went for it.
The Rollover, as far as we all know, was first done by a Paraglider pilot. Because of that, they already knew it was possible. I'm pretty sure that Shane went first and Cliff followed.
The Quad was done also. He called it that because he said you might become a quadriplegic. I don't know if the one I watched was the first one but it sure could have been. Shane was standing on a plank and told Broderick to pick his canopy off the sidewalk and just throw it over the edge. Broderick said ... "Really? ... Just throw it? Ok" ... and he picked up and tossed it over and Shane stepped off.

The first BASE jump where the canopy wasn't packed in a container was called the Wad. I don't have details on that besides what I saw on an old Bridge Day video. The guy stood on the platform holding his wadded up canopy in one hand and exclaimed... THE WAAAAaaddd!... then he jumped and hucked the canopy like a pilot chute.
