Twin Falls Drone?
I work for a high-end cinematography company and I would like to bring one of our ships out this week to get a shot or two for our reel. Does anyone have any experience shooting with a drone on the bridge? issues?

I've seen several here.

The noise is super annoying.

Please don't assume that every jumper wants it out in front of them.

If you only fly it to film people who want it there, I don't see any issues.

10 points for every bridle that you can cut in half with it

Hey Matt,

I wish I was still up there. I have done quite a bit with them here in Arizona. So much potential for awesome shots, even with a very conservative drone pilot. I would stay far away from inexperienced jumpers but if you have a jumper and pilot that know how to work together there it is only limited by how imaginative you can be.

Never seen a cut bridle but I don't know too many people dumb enough to kamikaze into spinning plastic blades and carbon. :-P

Moreover, Idaho is a "gold star" open carry state, so jumpers can just bring their shotguns to the launch point to make sure there aren't "any issues" with intrusive drones.

Skeet anyone?

Jumping with a shotgun is kind of a pain though. It's mostly handguns at the exit point here. Smile

Nobody has done a "flare gun cutaway" into the water yet?

Just jump with a chainsaw and call it good

Hey Matt, brought mine out a few weeks ago. The railing works as a pretty effective farraday cage, but the shots were still awesome.

In the four days that I was filming, I didn't see or hear about Tom Aiello being anywhere near the bridge, so the noise probably won't annoy him.

Since he is the primary spokesperson for the bridge, after all. Cough.

Shotguns are easy... it's the vacuum cleaners that are a little tricky.
