anyone know the correct slider dimensions for a dagger 266?

I packed a Dagger 266 this morning. But I think I'm going to swap a blackjack into that rig right now. Give me a few minutes and I'll measure it.

21" x 26"

I have a 25 by 19 large mesh and a 21 by 29 fine mesh. I believe the 25 by 19 definitely came with the canopy, the other one is prob off my mayhem 260 prior to the line recall.

so is the 25 by 19 almost certainly the wrong slider, or did different d.o.m. Versions come with different sized sliders.

I've only used this canopy slider off, and got all my gear mixed up in a house move.

I have a Dagger 266 as well and I'm gonna measure mine next time it's unpacked. Not doubting Tom's measurement but I'm just curious to see how many different size sliders people are using on them.

That's the only Dagger 266 I have at the moment, so I can't say for sure, but Daggers were produced with a lot of variation. I have seen different Daggers in the same size with dramatically different line trim (for example). It wouldn't surprise me at all to learn that there were different sized sliders shipped with different canopies of the same size.

Interesting. Could it have been experimenting with the trim to get them open faster? I know they were prone to slow inflation but I've taken mine sub 200' on a couple occasions and still had time for a relatively decent canopy flight.

sub 200 free fall or static line? ...this is an important distinction.

SL of course. Freefalling that with an old unvented canopy would be, IMO, a bit on the silly side.
