shortening brake lines on a Fox 315
Just took stock of a 315 with A new line set. Brake lines are way long. For those who have been there before, how much did you shorten them by?

1.9375 cm, 2 cm is too much...

Seriously. There are so many variables involved that it's meaningless to give you a specific length. For starters, do you want to change the brake setting location (s), i.e. where the brakes are set when you pack, or do you want to change the toggle location on the brake line? If it's the latter, fly it and take wraps of brake lines around your hands until you can just stall it at full arm extension, then change the toggle location as required.

all told on my OSP i took a full four inches out to get my DBS tuned to my weight and my liking.

depends on the manufacturer though.

I was seeking info on the length of the lines, that being the toggle location and from the two replies I got from people who have owned one they both suggested 3-4 inches. Obviously the length of your arms comes into play so I was after a approximate figure, but thanks for the helpful advice.
