Pressurized Tube 3 Modification
Hey, I don't normally post much around here, but just in case this is of any use to anyone, I'll post it.
I recently bought a second hand tube 3. The advice that somebody posted on this thread : http://www.basejumper.com/...;;page=unread#unread is spot on, I have to say.
Anyway, what I did was to add a neoprene strap below the knee so that your shin is anchored to the front on your pants - no more dancing around inside the tube. The idea was, of course, directly copied from the Squirrel Sumo suit, so no innovation karma points for me. Look at the sumo video and you'll see what I mean.
One more thing - if you want to sew neoprene and don't have a walking foot sewing wachine, try the following: stick a sheet of ordinary printer paper under the neoprene and material that you want to sew. Most of the problems seem to come from the fact that the feed dogs stretch the neoprene instead of advancing it. The paper trick seems to solve this. Afterwards just rip or moisten the paper away (obviously I am talking about strong thread). This one I did invent for myself

Anyway, take it or leave it. It was helpful for me.
