Does anyone know how far/high you have to hike from wherever Stavanger Base Club drops you off to the classic Lysboten Exits? Thanks.

I didn't know, but I know how to use google and their products.(google maps) So my answer is 4.79km.
Google earth also has elevation profile, it says its 416m up and 302m down.

One day, I will tell you how to convert it to miles and ft my friend. one day...

Its a fucking long way with a hangover i can tell you that...

When its your first hike you think it goes forever and it feels like it too... but after about 7-8 times it gets easier and easier ...



you get a van to the start from the town of lysebotn whch takes no time at all and allows you to focus on the hike and get your mind prepared, unless its your first jump then your shitting yourself the whole way up not knowing what to expect..

see attachment mate.. when I was the safety officer and instructor there I did a few things to help the new guys like make a few instructional videos and posts for students.. in the long run it has helped quite a few people...

Stavanger base klubb have a great facebook site you can ask many questions and get answers from people who actually climb it often...
