Tracking suit technique
I bought my first track suit earlier this year. Have not used for base yet. It's a tube 4 from pressurized.
Most flight go well in it, if a bit twitchy, but the main problem I'm trying to solve is my legs starting to bounce up and down(suit dives and flattens quickly) does anyone know what I'm doing to cause this? Once it's recovered from,
its no problem again, I just don't know what I'm doing to cause it happening!
Ps I have about 20 jumps in the suit.

I think you fly to flat, go steeper. And de-arch. I did that in my suit on very first jumps on it from the plane but I had shit little skydiving experience, like 50 jumps or something. You can also try to spread your legs a bit more, I seemed to forget that in the beggining.

Re: [Lukasz_Se] Tracking suit technique
I think it's the legs alright. I separated them more on last few jumps and didn't have this problem, thought I was just lucky. Will put some more on it this weekend and see how it goes. Thanks for the help.

Re: [jcbase2014] Tracking suit technique
hi!

hard to tell what exactly causes the leg-bounce, but if you just started a few tips:

1. prio - stability!
start with a wide leg stance, keep your hands behind your waiste. do not put your chin to your chest, do not dearch (also not arch, just have hips locked and body straight), just keep your head straight (dont look at your feet -> you would go too steep, and dont look at the horizon -> you would stall).
if you feel that you are going too fast/too steep, roll your shoulders and pull your head back (while looking the same direction), if you want to go faster push your head forward. (just like your sitting in fron of your screen right now, dont change anything and move your head closer to the screen, or further away from it.
do not try to push down with your hands to prevent going to steep, it doesnt help and it increases instability.

2. performance
if you got stability now over quite a few jumps, fast recoveries from acrom maneuvers, etc. start tweaking on performance. try to find the right "steepness" and head position that gives you best glide. if you prefer flying with a closer leg stance start off wide and slowly close your legs to see where and if leg bouncing starts again. (i personally always fly very wide leg stance).

find a wingsuiter that goes on jumps with you to get video of your body position. lots of people are quite suprised after seeing video that their body position isnt actually what they feel/think it is in the air. (so some are arching although they think their body is straight, bending knees without recognizing, etc). and then try to keep up with the wingsuiter and try to get feedback on performance.

edit to add that this applies for tube's...
