I need your help for my thesis about basejumping
Dear basejumpers from all over the world

My name is Vivien, I'm 18 years old, live in Zurich, Switzerland and I'm in the third year of an appreticeship as medical assistent. In school we got the task to write a thesis about the subjekt "borders". I choose the subjekt basejumping because I think basejumpers test their mental and physical limits and also expand them all the time. I'd be very happy if you don't mind to answer me some questions about basejumping in general and about your personal experiences,it'd help my thesis a lot :D

Here are some questions I'd like to know about, I also apprectiate it if you tell me some of your experiences and stories :)

How old are you?
What do you work?
When did you think about it the first time to do a basejump? And why did you start?
How many times did you already jump?
What other hobbies do you have?
Did ever happen an accident?
What does your family think about your risky hobby?
Does the adrenalin during the jumps affect your normal life in a relaxing way?
What's your favorite place to jump?
What's the most important thing you learned from basejumping ?
Do you get scared before jumping?
Do you get used to it and then becomes kind of like a routine?
How do you feel before jumping?
Do you expand your limits? Like higher, faster, different ways to jump

Thank you very much to take a few minutes to answer my questions

Greetings, Vivien H.

How old are you?52
What do you work?Technicker
When did you think about it the first time to do a basejump? And why did you start?1987. My home Dropzone closed but there was a 2000ft antennae 45minutes away, and a 1000ft 20minutes away and a 265ft 10 minutes away. it was what i consider logical progression
How many times did you already jump?450+ BASE, 2100+ skyjumps
What other hobbies do you have?Rubik's cubing, Cooking chili (i have awards) Searching prime numbers from car tags.
Did ever happen an accident? twisted my ankle once and crashed a tree requiring 7 stitches
What does your family think about your risky hobby? my parents died. but my mom was a bit angry with me jumping from aeroplanes. So I didnt tell her about me jumping from antennas or buildings, But she busted me on a police reporting the phantom jumper on tv. She said take care and that is my sig line to this day.
Does the adrenalin during the jumps affect your normal life in a relaxing way? I dont get an adrenalin on good jumps. only on bad jumps. Adrenalin makes me want to puke. not good.
What's your favorite place to jump? Lokality Lysefjord, Norge, ITW italy
What's the most important thing you learned from basejumping ? What I learned? Risk management.
Do you get scared before jumping? I am fraid of waking up.
Do you get used to it and then becomes kind of like a routine? I dont be a complacent jumper. i agree to die like on every jump.
How do you feel before jumping? scared.
Do you expand your limits? Like higher, faster, different ways to jump. That is a nasty question. I always almost try to find the edge and back off a bit. One cant push the edge, only get close to it or ......,

If you start a riot, you can easily reach some stuff that were otherwise unreachable.
I also found out that human meat has much greater nutrition that beef.
