When I was there I stayed here:
http://www.tonsaibayresortkrabi.com/index.html

It was about US $25/night.

If you want aircon, hot water etc this is a great option.

If you're looking for something cheaper and more basic there's heaps of bungalows there. I think Andaman Nature Resort is one and I think Paasook Resort is another.

Do yourself a favour and don't eat any of the western food there like pizza etc. I saw heaps of people get sick from it, including myself! Stick to the delicious local food.

Hope that helps! Have fun!

Completely agree, I've stayed there twice and it's great. You jump over top of it in the morning and then go straight to breakfast. Mamas is still my favorite place to eat.

There are cheaper options as well if A/C, Flushing toilet and breakfast included aren't important to you.

I've paid as little as 100 baht (2 Euro) a night for a place like Jungle Hut in the off-season.

My favorite is Green valley which was 150 baht a night and there were two beds. So I shared the room with a friend making a it 75 baht pp.

Also, I was able to work out better deals by agreeing to pay by the month. All prices are negotiable.

I wouldn't say one option is a better or worse deal than the other....just depends on what you are looking for and how long you want to stay. Ton Sai is a small place so i'd just walk around and check everything out.

Don't try to reserve anything before you get there. You will surely overpay.

Ok, all sounds good.

Does anybody know how the high season is ? i will be there for christmass and New years eve, and most of us arrive arround the 22nd.

Do you think there will be space left, and if its gone be busy ?

thats def in the peak season, but for climbers, ton sai isn't the destination it used to be and less are going. Expect to pay more (like 4x to 5x more than i previously said), but dont expect to be homeless.
